So I was wondering if I was supposed to get a floor mat for the back raised middle portion?

That could get dirty in a hurry with kids back there being that light grey color.

Saw a 2011 LS460L that had one but not sure if my 2008 LS460 SWB CPO was supposed to get one since the dealer gave me a brand new set with the purchase of the car

 

The factory carpet mats are 4 piece only.

I have a 2009 CPO SWB LS460 with Grey interior and Light Grey carpets.. It came with a 4 piece set of black mats.

My SC430 came came with ecru interior and ecru mats. I just bought a set of black mats for it. The ecru was impossible to keep clean.

anyhow, you guys know of any aftermarket ones for the middle raised area?

 

I have light carpets and I bought a black rubber runner from Pep Boys for $20. I also have Lexus all weather mats for each seating area. I put down the runner, cut a small hole where the retaining clips are and then install the Lexus mats. It keeps the runner in place and the back hump does not get dirty with my kids at the back.

 

so the runner runs from left to right (from door to door) under the all weather mats in the back?

I went to the dealer yesterday for the first complimentary oil change service and I asked if they could swap the grey mats they gave me (the new set) for some black ones (bought the car from them 2 weeks ago)

the sales manager went in the back and came out with a brand new black set wrapped in the original plastic bag and just handed them to me. (without taking the other grey set from me, which was slightly used by now of course)

now I have 3 all weather sets and a winter set.

guess you only see that kind of customer service in a Lexus dealership..I was impressed
