Displays Oil Maintenance Required
I have a 2008 LS 460L, it displays something to the effect of:
"Oil maintenance required"
I checked the oil and level and both are fine.
The oil and filter was just changed 600 miles ago.
I have the NAV which allows you to put in the date and miles for maintenenace for the next oil change for both oil and oil fitler, both are set for 01/13/2012 at 5,000 miles which shows 4400 miles left before the scheduled maintenance. It has always been run on full synthetic since day one and I change the oil every 3-5,000 miles.
I checked the owners manual on page 640 Messages and warnings, but cannot find anything else to assist me in finding why this is on and how to correct.
Help! why is this display on?
