My Telenav or Google Maps Nav works just fine...I'll end up probably buying the Vaistech Android Integration Module to turn my Nav screen into my phone and use the Android NAV on that screen..OEM NAV is disappointing, esp in pre 2010 models IMO

LOL, believe it. One dealer here wanted $260 to install the update, thats ON TOP of the $169. So, $429.00 plus tax.

That's what I'm afraid they'll all be charging.

Chicago area dealers are $169 for map plus one hour labor. Labor rates vary but the one I'm dealing with is $139. So I'm looking at $310. I'm gonna see if I can get a print out of the $199 price from the before mentioned Tampa dealer and see if mine will price match. Each map has a unique code that needs to be entered in along with the Lexus computer. I've spent countless hours trying to find "alternative" sources or means if you will and all roads lead to nowhere. The bottom line is without this ultra expensive device from Lexus for Lexus dealers ONLY there is no work around. So grab your ankles fellas because it's coming your way if you want the updated maps.
