I would say take it to the dealer and have them do a reset.

I got the crankshaft position sensor and will try to install it tomorrow.
Is it typical for these LS460's to just stop running like this?

I have owned a lot of cars, and this is the only Lexus and I'm underwhelmed...

Default ABS/VSC problem also with my 2007 LS460

My car generated both the C1241 and the C1391. The battery checked out to be fine. The part number that Mitchell1 says needs to be replaced is 44050-50110 and my local Lexus dealer wants almost $3000 for a new one. I can find on a used parts website 44510-50070 for $450 for a 2007 LS 460 and I'm told they are they same part. Can anyone tell me whether they are the same part and whether replacing it will solve the ABS/VSC problem I'm having?

I had the same warning lights came on and I had to get both of my actuator and brake booster replaced about a month ago, I both cost me 6,400. At first they replaced the brake booster and tried to erase the codes but they couldn't. They found out that one of the valve in the actuator was not working so they replaced the actuator, after that they could erase those codes. My brakes are working flawless and no more lights and no more noise or clicking noise when I apply my brakes.
I think I still have those warning codes written down some where, let me look for them and I'll post them.

Thanks for your comment. I'd look forward to getting the codes.
