radio controls no longer function. only the volume and the seek buttons work. have to use controls on the steering wheel to make any changes. Has anyone ever encountered this problem.

 

I have a 2007 Ls and I've experienced the same problem at times.

 

Yup, same kind of malfunction but intermittent in my case. For the first time in my life, the car (2007LS) did its little trick when the service guy had it for a test-drive after new brakes were installed. Lexus ordered up and installed a replacement head unit (amp had been previously replaced) without any fuss. Good luck.
