I was quoted $235 to update my navigation system in my 2007 LS 460.I think I'm being ripped off.Does anybody have any input ?

 

It's normally $169 + labor to install. Looks like the dealer is charging you $65 to install. I don't think that's a bad price given that it takes them an hour to do it if all goes well. If they run into problems it takes them longer but it's still the same price to you.

Make sure that you are getting the latest version. The updates generally come out around this time of the year.

 

shocked someone hasn't hacked the updates.

 

My understanding is the update comes on a USB stick for $179. That update is loaded into the Dealers computer and then connected to your car to be downloaded.

Price doesn't seen out of line.

sounds legit to me I would rounded it off to 3 hundo. that 169 is like a sale price normally it would 199 + labor
