I'm not sure if anyone will answer this but I have a 2014 LS F sport and if I get the i harness does that come with the speed control or just the H does? Will the H harness work for my year?
Thanks again!
I have a 2007 which uses the G harness and have the secondary speed harness connected, and it's been working perfectly since I installed it last MAY. To my knowledge, all of the H-087 (g,h,& i) harnesses include the main controller harness and the secondary speed harness, and the "i" version is for 2013+ model years. From post# 225, it appears the speed harness plug is located behind the cup holder in your car vs behind the nav unit in mine. This would explain the longer speed harness (the single cable one) that I see in the pics of various for sale postings.
Is it safe to drive around with the data system on 5 all round. the car is AWD
as I like the look of it just on the tyres
just don’t want to damage axles
This one’s a bit lower

That's a Beautiful LS! That's what a black car should look like! Nice job!
You da man Uncle Jitty!! Got the system installed and it seems to be working flawlessly, including the speed cable activating/deactivating Height High. Haven't put the controller in to SL mode yet but this photo taken was at Front:5 and Rear:4 with no rubbing whatsoever. Got it up to 110 and it was fine even over rolling dips. Thanks to you, amack, apaper, Oliver, and everyone else I picked up information from. Will post more and better pics in my build thread in the near future, still have some more changes/mods to do.
SL mode:
Hey I am in the exact same situation you were in and had a question. So the harness I ordered came exactly as pictured on your eBay link. With a single harness, 2 white ports into the controller, then 3 male connectors 2 black 1 white, connected to a 3 female connector bar. Im looking to get a better understanding of it before installation, but does this mean that it has the speed cable with it? Or do I need to order that and if so, how do I get it to connect to my asc controller? Sorry long question but thanks in advance and clean car! I have the same in silver.

From what you described, you have the controller and the main harness for it that connects to the suspension ECU withn the side panel, below the glovebox. That connection is the easy part, however, connecting the inline speed harness is more involved and tedious, as it requires removal of the nav unit. Did you buy the controller and main cable new or used?
Thanks for the pictures, it makes sense now. I bought mine used and so that explains why I am missing the separate speed cable. I'll see if I can look for just the speed cable by itself instead. But to attach it to the harness, would I just plug in both ends then connect the single wire to the other solo wire on the main harness with the small clear connector?

If I remember correctly, this is where the speed harness goes:
Got it, thanks for the pictures and help! Waiting on the speed cable to come in, but you were right it is a relatively easy and quick install even if I have to go back in a second time. Took some SL pictures after install.

Sweet, clean ride brother! Diggin' those wheels with the silver (if my LS wasn't black I'd want it silver). I finally found the PDFs that might help with the nav unit removal, and this video helped a lot as well. From what I can remember, the two screws from underneath that hold the nav unit in place might be a little difficult to access and you have to be careful they don't drop down and get lost.
It's a pain, but having the speed wire/harness is the proper way to run the Data System controller so you don't have to worry about the car self lowering at speed. The Height High light will come on when speeding up and slowing down at around 38mph or so. But down worry, it's just the controller doing it's job and countering the automatic lowering/raising. In the pic is how I normally drive it at setting 6 Fronts and 4 Rears. And when below 38mph and going over speed bumps, sharp incline driveways, etc. I just hit the Height High button to gain some more clearance.

Great choice in wheel design too!
More recent supalow LOL. Got a bit of a rake because I'm running 255/40s in the front and 275/40s rear, both on the same 19x9.5" wheel.
