VIDEO: 2013 Lexus LS F SPORT- Interior

I have seen it in the current Fsport , the new F sport, and in the the highlander. It looks cheap in my opinion. To each his own but I think its kind of funny to think they are going to change the classic look of a wood interior that has been used for decades by dozens of luxury manufacturers for this unfinished cheap looking stuff. To me a wood interior is to be glossy . I dont think you would ever see that kind of finish in a Rolls Royce. I am happy to see that they at least offer the different finishes for the buyers. My next LS will have the glossy finish

See the little "L"s printed on the trim? It's an F SPORT exclusive.
Yeah it's about time Lexus did something with their LED displays!
It very cool, particularly given that the numbers are now solid.
For what it's worth (and hopefully I won't get any hate for this!), my Jeep Grand Cherokee had this feature in the trip odometer (not the main one, but the one on the overhead information center) 13 years ago. The numbers were dotted, but they did scroll, and I always thought that was cool. It's interesting how there are always car features that the domestics offer sooner, and later they come out in improved form elsewhere.

Have you seen it in real life yet? Maybe it doesn't look like 'crap' before you jump to conclusions. Besides, pictures aren't anything to go by. And so far I've only seen 3 different wood treatments. The layered black Shimomoku, the matte finish, and the lighter colored wood. Doesn't the new GS have more than 3 options? I'm sure the LS will as well.
