I have a 2009 ls460 standard wheelbase AWD with most options.....it appears the high beams are a more traditional color/brightness. Are they HID like the low beams or halogen or?
thanks

Thanks...I thought they seemed less effective....last car had the bi-xenon and they were very nice

bi xenons are awesome!..i disabled my DRL through personal settings...if there was a bright 5000K 9005 LED in there, maybe I would of kept it but I just put the DRL strip on the bottom of mine. The halogen's are bright at night though, it lights up very far down the road with that projector design...HID's aren't made for quick flashes or instant brightness like an LED or Halogen bulb can do..unless bi xenon that activates that mirror like flap to remove the cutoff

hid in high beam, that means no more flashing, because every time you need the flash something quick, the hid is just igniting and warming up.
