Default Rotiform wheels for LS460

I recently called Rotiform to get a wheel quote and was quite shocked on how much they charged for their wheels. To be exact, the cost was $1650 per wheel and a grand total of $6600 for the set before shipping costs. It was $7200 for the polished version of the wheels.

They offer no discounts currently and pretty much laughed at me when I asked if they would come close to their competition prices such as DPE, VIP Modular and etc, so our conversation ended there.

I'm curious if any LS owners here currently or have owned Rotiform wheels and what the cost you paid for them. Vendors?

They have a huge following though! I didn't like all of their wheels but some of them are hella nice but way to high for me to bite the bullet on. Somebody is spening that cheese! LOL...

Their wheels are ugly...too old school for me. I rather have VIP Modular any days.

IIRC, the only car I've seen with Rotiform wheels is the Fox Marketing LS600 with the Artisan aero.

Not my cup of tea, but I think their wheels are more popular amongst the VW/Audi/Euro scene.

I think you're right about that Brian and I'm not a fan of that particular wheel myself. LOL

FWIW, the only advice I can give you is to not call a manufacturer directly and ask for a discount of any sort. The only way you're going to get any sort of a "deal" is to call an authorized retailer that's willing to work with your budget and get you best bang for buck.

To put the Rotiform wheels in perspective, the retail on my 22" Weds Kranze wheels was in excess of $8,800, but I can tell you that no one in So Cal pays retail.

They all look too Euro/VW to me,
The ones on the green LS are completely out of place

I remember back in the day when I saw the feature done on that green LS thought it was one of the ugliest I have seen other than than pink one with the Forgiatto 24" wheels

A little insight on that company. I met a guy who shoots for and helped started Modify Magazine. There was a car he was going to shoot for a cover of a Japanese magazine and had Rotiform wheels. Well one of the wheel faces straight broke! Like those horror pics of rota wheels. So he calls them up and tells them the situation and that their wheels were on a car that's supposed to be on a cover of a major overseas magazine and the wheel face broke. They pretty much told him the cost of a new wheel. They weren't even thinking about just replacing it for free or anything. Also I hear the barrels they use for custom wheel builds and rebuilds are of poor quality. They company is fairly new and based in SoCal I believe. I follow them on Facebook and they market themselves well but their customer service needs improvement. I was looking to have them rebuild some bbs rs wheels for my supra...upsize them to 18s and custom offsets but when I heard that story I'm looking else where.
