Default DataSystem Controller & Freeway

I noticed during my trip to LA today that my car seems to lower itself at highway speeds. For long driving I set up my 1st memory setting which is:

Driver Front: 1
Passenger Front: 0
Rears:0

You're probably wondering why I don't set it to NORMAL...well for whatever reason at this setting my Driver Front is about an inch higher than the other three corners for some reason.

Anyways, i noticed that on the screen where is shows the horizontal bars that the front and rears bars are displayed as if I was at level 4 or 5? Does the DataSystem Controller lower the car automatically when it goes past a certain speed? When I received this kit, it came with an additional harness, i think for a speed sensor, but the previous owner said that I didn't have to install it?

Any insight or comments regarding this? Thanks!

Is this an aftermarket system you added on?

Yes after market module sold by Prestigious Society

I'll be subscribing to this because this module is on my list for my LS upgrade..I think the car does some leveling with speed but not sure

actually it's from factory... ls460 with air suspension from factory, when you are over certain speed, the car lowers a bit for aerodynamic purposes. even when you lower the car with the ps controller, the car still does the same thing

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the data systems version & not prestigious society's version, they do the same thing pretty much but different makers.

no no, it's the same module. prestigious just buys data system controllers and slaps a sticker on them and produces an install guide.

I thought so! I remember someone saying to buy the data systems module and harness directly from Japan or yahoo Japan auctions and save a grip

Cheez - are you saying that the their controller can be controlled through the navigation screen if I bought their bypass too? The reason why i am asking is because the screen on my DS Controller is shot...but the module still works...but i have to operate it blind.

Charles is saying the data systems box for the navi bypass (to allow screen input and DVD viewing while in motion) and the air susp controller can be purchased cheaper along with their respective harnesses. There are several companies that buy the units from DataSystems and resell them without branding their own name on it. I did that for my air susp controller ASC680L for my 600hL...saved about $400 or so thanks to Charles's insight!! If you search eBay for ASC680L you will see one seller that I used. I had my susp controller and harness within four days..from Japan!!!
