Default ADV.1 Wheels no thx + warning

wanting to pass this along to forum members...

first i received my 'quote' on wheels for my car.

Standard Concave: $8,260
Deep Concave: $9,869
TS Contoured: $10,600

http://www.adv1wheels.com/adv1wheels/home.php

then, on another forum, some members chimed in on this company.

^ ADV response to the wheels note being the same size:
he did, but they wouldnt offer him a full refund, only credit towards another set of wheels. They are dodgy as ****

But I guess you would expect such behavior from any shady business from Miami.

That's a lot of money for some rims! Not really understanding what you're trying to convey? What was the issue?

Okay. I clicked on the google link and I see the complaints. Needless to say, I'm sure you're staying away from them. Those prices are ridiculous! Did that even include tires, Lol?

custom stuff cost money now im not saying i am going to pay that but 5 g's and up for some custom 22's is really not much just dont pay retail. there not mass produced they are made in 3 pieces forged and if you give them dimension you get a set of wheels for your car hub bore offset all that.

Well, I paid $6K for some Forgiatos with tires. They are 3 piece and they are 24s. You can get a 3 piece 22 with tires for way less than that.

Default Wowzers!

And I thought the $4800 quote I got on VIP Modulars was too rich for me! 10k for some damn rims that will get curbed and scuffed up! I'll pass on that as well! I was always curious to how much they charged for wheels and know that I know, I will PASS ON THEM! THAT ISH CRAY!

Those prices are simply insane. If I was going to drop some serious coin (8-10k) on wheels ( would never happen) I would do JDM wheels . These guys must be smoking some serious stuff to think they will stay in business selling wheels like that. At least a company like HRE or BBS have a reputation and can charge like that. These guys are nuts. VOSSEN is popular for many reasons......pricing is simply one of the many

The car in the pictures, looks like a Porsche so you know they are balling out of control. If you own a Porsche, you are expected to pay 5-15K for wheels. Wheel manufacture will hike the price on exotic cars.
