Default LS team fired?

My SA told me a very funny story last week

When I was complaining about wind noise, he told me the entire team for the current LS was fired

True or not?

Personally - the wind noise makes the car a 100% disappointment

What is the wind noise issue?

Can you describe it?

The wind noise issue he's describing is the one described/detailed here:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...noise-fix.html

Fairly common problem with our cars, I thought I was one of the lucky ones not to experience this, but I just realized on the freeway the other day my car is subject to this as well.

I think for them to screw something up like the major wind noise issue as well as the very very very poorly designed drivers seats I think they should have been fired as well. I still dont think its the truth but....

I still feel like the door panels dont fit factory perfect and I am still having issues with the drivers seat comfort (although it better than before I had a shop add padding)

If this true, then IMHO this action should have taken place early in the LS460 life cycle. This team has been very succesfull in alienating the long term loyal Lexus customers like myself.

my wind noise isn't that bad, but goddamn the rest of the interior sucks. my 600 rattles like a 72 datsun 510.

My car is rattle free but the damn seats are soooo annoying . I am not understanding why they added bolsters this aggressive on a car that handles like a boat int he water. I drive the ES, GS, and RX and have never had an issue. I am taking the car into the upholstery shop in a week to have them take some padding off of the bolster on the base of the seat. I know this may create wrinkles in the leather but I dont give a damn. My butt covers it up anyway. I am looking for function over form right now

Have to admit i prefer my 430 seats over the 460's, the back of the seat is too narrow unlike the 430's.

is it safe to say that the LS460 is the worst LS? Very disappointed with the LS460. I have had the 1992 LS400 driven to 260,000 miles without any problem. Also 1996 LS400, driven it to 210,000 without a problem and the 2002 LS430 was nothing but amazing. I can't say the same for the LS460. Very sad....

This is my first LS (2007 LS 460L) and I really like it. As a first year car with a new design, it does have some issues but most are fixed by recalls etc,. The drive is on par with S550 or better.

From my experience, the torque on my co-workers S550 is much more prominent and the cabin is also much quieter. The drive, however, is similar. Both are overweight and underpowered.
