Needs help about the tire fitment

Can anyone plz tell me is the 255-40-18 tire fit in stock ls 460 stock wheel 18x7.5? Thanks!

I believe 255/40-18 (dia. 26.0") will be about an inch smaller in diameter than stock 235/50-18 (27.3"). I think 255/45-18 (dia. 27.0") will be closer.

I think 255 may be too wide for 7.5" wide wheel. 255's need at least 8" wide wheel.
