After my Amp went few days ago, i've been thinking about getting the warranty since i only have 800 miles left from the factory. Today I just bought the lexus platinum extened warranty for $1550 on extra 3 years and 25000 miles. what do you guys think?

you mean 25k miles? seems low...but yeah, in my case warranty paid itself in the first visit(control arms replacement). BTW: just post this in any other 'extended warranty' thread. There are like 3 of them on last 4 pages. less clutter this way.

only mods can lock this up i think. But if you work at a dealer couldn't you get 4y/50k on the cheap? that's what i got thru J.Johnson from Midwest. Best purchase yet.
I'm honestly a bit disappointed with quality of my LS...or I'm just too picky. on my next visit i gotta address extremely tight front door hinges, power door closers work once in 4 instances, something rattling from rear suspension. Considering I drove loaners for 2months of my 6month LS ownership.

 

I didnt get the 4yrs/50k because i dont drive much and not looking to keep it for longer than 3 yrs. Damn im glad you got the warranty or you'd be sorry for the fixes!
