Question What did you pay for your LS460?

Trying to get a good price point for a used 2008 LS460 and was hoping some of you guys would share what you paid for your cars 'used'. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Depending on options, rims etc. I would say that as of today an entry level 460 08 SWB would be in the mid 37's, CPO about 38k to 42k. Private party you may be able to get in the mid 35s. Mileage seems to add/deduct about 1k for every 10k miles up to 60,000 miles.

This was the data that I observed over the past year and a half here in So Cal. It varies by market (higher population with more cars tends to be about 2k less) and time of year, with end of first quarter seemingly the best time to purchase CPOs. I bought mine in Dec of 09, and saw a drop in similar vehicles by 2-3k over the next year. That seems to have moved back up by 1-1.5k but still some of the best pricing on used LS460s I have seen in the few years I have looked.

Good luck with your search, there are some good deals out there, but you need to decide on what options are important to you and then track vehicles similar, definitely look at several markets around your area

Very good information my friend! I'm def been doing the research and you sound pretty much "dead on". Hopefully I can work some magic with this dealer today.

Well, listen to both sound systems and see what you like. Personally I'd go with the 2008 car.

Buying a non-CPO, non-ML was not an option for me. Would rule out the 08. 07 might work if it has good maintenance record and VSR recall performed. Like the 07 color combination but it would have to be in outstanding condition to command 40k, IMHO. See, you already have two different preferences. Now, you have to decide which one will be more enjoyable for you to own.

Thanks for the reply 'SilverPaws'. I am skeptical paying 40k for a 2007 model but as you said, it's has excellent records and CPO and with ML so I'm definitely leaning towards it more than the 2008. Thanks for you kinds words sir!

Bought mine more than two years ago for $54K. '08/15K miles/grey on grey/premium pkg/ML/auto park/door closers/LS600hL's 19" wheels.

That was in the good days of 2009

Talking Decision made!

Picked up a great deal on a CPO 2007 LS460 with Mark Levinson with 32k miles for 37k.

Color: Black Sapphire Metallic
Interior: Erca

Can't wait to get her in!
