What did you pay for your LS460?
Trying to get a good price point for a used 2008 LS460 and was hoping some of you guys would share what you paid for your cars 'used'. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Depending on options, rims etc. I would say that as of today an entry level 460 08 SWB would be in the mid 37's, CPO about 38k to 42k. Private party you may be able to get in the mid 35s. Mileage seems to add/deduct about 1k for every 10k miles up to 60,000 miles.
This was the data that I observed over the past year and a half here in So Cal. It varies by market (higher population with more cars tends to be about 2k less) and time of year, with end of first quarter seemingly the best time to purchase CPOs. I bought mine in Dec of 09, and saw a drop in similar vehicles by 2-3k over the next year. That seems to have moved back up by 1-1.5k but still some of the best pricing on used LS460s I have seen in the few years I have looked.
Good luck with your search, there are some good deals out there, but you need to decide on what options are important to you and then track vehicles similar, definitely look at several markets around your area

Buying a non-CPO, non-ML was not an option for me. Would rule out the 08. 07 might work if it has good maintenance record and VSR recall performed. Like the 07 color combination but it would have to be in outstanding condition to command 40k, IMHO. See, you already have two different preferences. Now, you have to decide which one will be more enjoyable for you to own.

some damn good prices posted on here. I got a nearly fully loaded 07 SWB (minus air susp, adaptive cc, 115V outlet) for $37K with 44K miles last August. I just checked blue book on mine with the options I have and it is booking for the same exact price..feelin pretty good right about now
