ls broken into
thanks for the kind words
the laminate window did give them trouble and they used a pry bar to get it out
there is slight paint damage
the mirror was forced back by the overhanging glass and that was scratched
they went through every spot in the ls including the sunglass spot it took me forever to know all those spots but they got to all of them
all they took was spare change
the alarm only went off when the officer was dusting for prints and opened the door from inside
sad we dont have motion detectors

I wouldn't worry about the alarm. I've probably seen/heard a hundred car alarms go off in the past 40 years and never once did I or anyone else do anything about it. Although now today we all have cell phones, but the chances of police responding in any kind of timely manner is ......................... well ............................... unlikely.
alarms do seem to get ignored these days unfortunately, but I believe you can get shock sensor added to the factory system. Be nice if you are nearby and hear it go off, then out comes your 40 cal

Thieves don't car about alarms, they were in and out in seconds, if they are out to steal some change they have nothing to lose..
