Unhappy Window regulator broke?

I was driving awhile back and my window got stuck halfway. I didn't think much of it because it went back up next time I got in the car then I went a few weeks until today, when I was driving and the window will only go halfway back up. I went to the Toyota Dealership and they told me that it is probably the regulator which I have no idea what that is. I searched on here and didn't really find anything except for people taking it to the dealership to just have fixed. Is there anything I can do to fix it myself or am I screwed? Thanks.

Drew

The window regulator is the mechanism that controls the up-down operation of the window. Unless you're familiar with doing mechanical work such as this, I suggest you bring it to a window glass company or your Lexus or Toyota dealer to have it repaired. It's not a simple job!
