The rear looks great, but the front is too high. It still looks alright.

Thanks buddy. I am still thinking of dropping the car. I might take advantage of Fathers day around the corner not not sure. Like I said before, most of the time I think I would be crazy to drop a car like this but there are other times where I feel I have to drop. I am enjoying the ride quality and normal tire wear for now. Whats tempting me is that I just moved and am driving half of what I was before. I have seen dropped S class Benzs in pictures but never on the road. I also dont see dropped 7 series BMWs to frequently either......but I dont live in LA anymore. lol Also for some of the members with dropped LS460Ls have easy because they can get the lowering module and lower the stock air suspension. I think the S class guys also have the same aftermarket option. The other issue is that the LS has a much larger gap in the front than the rear so with coilovers or springs you will need to lower the front considerably more than the rear

Good luck. I am sure you will be happy no matter what you do

well the wheel arches on the ls are larger in the front compared to the rear which seem to be lower. the springs that are offered do correct that issue to kind of level it out.

The Tanabes do correct that issue. The only issue it creates is that now the nose of the car is lower than the rear. I think the drop is like 1.5 front and .8" rear

but that's because the front gap is larger than the rear to begin with right?

yes that correct. Lexus has the bottom of the car parallel to the ground. If you drop the car more in the front the car will sit lower in the front.

wait im confused so the car sitting on our stock 18's will be parallel to the ground but when we put bigger wheels and tires (22's) then it will raise the front more than the rear, so then the springs balance that back out to parallel again?? or is it just to the eye that after the wheels are put on it looks higher in the front than in the back?? sorry about my confusion :S

no, with 22s, it won't change anything, won't raise the front more than rear (in fact it won't change the height of the car at all as long as you get the right tires)

it's all illusion. from factory the front wheel gap is always larger than the rear, but when you put larger wheels, the difference become more "obvious"

you mention a lowering module option for the LS460L. I just bought one and looking to slap some 22's on her as well, but I don't want that gap in the front. can you specify what the lowering module is and where can i find it?
