Default Headlight auto turning

Whenever you turn, the headlight auto turns and shine light toward that direction fir better visibility. I think Lexus calls it adaptive front lighting system (AFS). However I only notice that it does this for the right side only and NOT the left side.
Is this normal or mine is broken?

depends on your speed and if your turning left or right.

When turning speed exceeds 19 mph, both headlamps will swivel to brighten the road’s curve. At lower speeds, a single headlamp rotates up to 10 degrees during right turns and 20 degrees when turning left.

Hmmm. Seems like the left side should have more movement but when I turn I only notice the right side light moves.

if your going over 19mph and are turning back and forth you will see the lights (both) pan out to the left and right, If your only noticing one (at this speed or higher) then you will want the dealer to look at it. I read this, but didnt really comprehend it until I associated it with speed on an evening home one night. I thought one of mine was acting up also, but turns out it is working as designed. Make sure your AFS light is active also on the left side of your steering wheel , you can try to turn that on and off once of twice too to see if that makes any difference.
