If you have a second set of TPMS on your winter tires they must be "registered" with the car's computer to be detected. When you change back to summer tires a re-registration for them will also be required. This has to be done at the dealer.

Hey VancouverL!
Yup, you will have to live with the warnings until you put your summer rims back on as there is no easy way to reset.
I went with winter rims and considered paying for an extra set of TPMS until I heard a dealer visit was required to reset. I am two hours from dealer so did not want to have to do that twice a year (plus I believe there may be a $70 charge).
I can live with the loss of the compass display and the warning only flashes at the start (It goes away completely when I return to my garage where wheels are stored but is retriggered when I drive more that 15-20 KMs).
Does seem like poor implementation given Lexus' previous excellent reputation for electronics.
