I actually read a few years ago that it was better for an engine to warm up under load, rather than just sitting. Has anyone any genuine insight on that?
OK so I admit it. The main reason I would like to warm the car up before driving is for ME, not necessarily the car. I do warm up faster under load but not much fun!!
My 08 does exactly what you are describing and when I asked dealer about it, I was told it's normal. I had an 07 before this one and it did the same thing. Ignore it.
my 2007 does the same thing. I am having them do the tsib on the tranny because of the weird delay at stop lights. I wonder if it will help. Probably just cold tranny fluid. No big deal. My GS did the same thing
