Default Cleaning denim from seats

I've got blue denim showing on cashmere seats. What do people use to clean it (I was going to use water and Woolite)?

I just got a previously owned LS460 that came from Nebraska. The passenger seat has some mild staining most likely from a cheap jacket. I tried cleaning it with the Lexus leather cleaner and it made about 10% better. I am slightly frustrated with it but then again its a used car......and I got it for a steal. I have gone over it a couple of times and no luck. I wonder if there is something stronger we can use

I would use Leatherique. (Leatherique.com)

I remember reading about the effectiveness of Leatherique in the CL forums on various occasions.

There's also a product called Afta Adhesive Stain remover its the professional strength version of oops goo gone... i've used that to remove permanent black marker off tan leather... check w/a local upholstery shop they should have access.

I wound up using Lexol leather cleaner and a lot of elbow grease. It work pretty good (but the stain was only on the surface).

Mr. Clean Magic eraser works perfectly. Use a leather conditioner after, Zaino is a great brand.

I didnt even think of that magic eraser thing. My only concern is that it can take paint off of a door. I hope it will not do anything to the leather

Just tried the magic eraser and it didnt do much. I tried soaking the area in leather cleaner from Lexus and it made about a 5-10% difference. The only left to try is the goo-gone. I got some today but forgot it at the office. I will give it a shot tomorrow and let you guys know. My wife was laughing at the fact that I was trying to get a stain out that was soooo mild. Hey its a Lexus, I want perfection.

You can use a soft to medium nylon bristle brush and a good terry cloth. For stains on leather, I like to use Meguiars Gold Class interior spray cleaner or even Armor All brand all purpose car cleaner will work (no petroleum distillates). Spray it on the surface, use the brush and work it in. Take the terry and wipe. Should come out with no problem.

thanks for the tip flipside. I tried the goo gone route and it failed . I will try the cleaner you mentioned. I think I saw it at Walmart. I know there is a fix for this . I just think the dealership that sold me the car after having it detailed at a local car wash. The work was average at best.

I have same seats and love my jeans. Plain old Simple Green works like a charm.
