I found an 2008 LS460 with 17,000 miles selling for $42,580. It has Navi, backup camera, rear shade, ML stereo, and all the usual options. The car looks clean except a small paint scratch at the bumper which the dealer said they'll fix.
Is this a good deal or fair deal?
also does the 2008 model has that glass that block out noise better (sorry I forgot what it's called).

Thanks for your inputs.
Sounds about right, there's over 300 of them on AutoTrader for 50 to 60K, there's also a few in the high 30K's.
I'm trying to peddle mine for 45K with 31,400 miles...or trade it for a '10 RX450h.
I think it is a fair price. I paid $41,500 for my 2008 LS 460 with 20,500 miles in the end of September. I originally leased it for three years, but decided to buy it 25 months into the lease. The price I paid was halfway between low and high wholesale but also included about $1000 of lease buyout charges.
Mine has everything the one you are looking at except the ML audio. If you are buying it from a dealer, they should include the CPO warranty.
Actually I just found out that I paid about 1k more than what they would have sold. Got the info from a friend who work in there (didnt know he was working there until after the fact). Fall into the lap of a used car guy... Oh well...
thats a good deal to me. I don't know about Texas but in NY i'm looking at a CPO 08 swb with 32k for $41 flawless condition. Compared a few identical LS's on cars.com and autotrader and there are TONS of LSs from Texas. Cali prices are closer to NY/NJ/CT/MA. TX is a bit less.
I guess prices really depends on where you live. Places like NY or SF will def have higher prices.
I haven't bought the car yet...there was a little scratch on the bumper and so I asked them to repair it..which they repainted the whole bumper....but now the color doesn't match. They're redoing it...if they don't do it right, I'm not going to take it.
