Lexus redesigned the glove box door there is a TSB for it, take it to your dealer and they should replace the entire unit (door and back end compartment) for free

I have an 07 and the new one is MUCH nicer and fits like a glove

I am having a problem with mine where the door hangs a bit low when closed. It just looks goofy. I have taken it to my local dealer twice already with no positive result. Can you point me to the TSB so that I can then point my dealer to it? Thanks in advance for your help!

When I had mines apart while installing the lowering module, I saw how it worked and fixed the hanging issue myself. It was only the turn of a screw and now it fits perfect.

How difficult is it to get to this screw?

I found the TSIB in the DIY sticky at the top. Thanks! Dealer called and they are going to correct the glove box.

This is the problem that the TSB fixes. The screw adjustment after a while no longer works. The new design is completely different, if your able to get the old one to work that is good, but in time it will sag again and you will no longer have the option of adjusting it. They did that on mine to start and it fell down after about 30 days. The 2nd fix was to replace the entire assembly, door and compartment with the new design, Its much nicer inside as the shelf tilts back and it is cut out to hold the monster manual better.

Did mines about a month ago but after reading this, I might just take it in for that. It has to go in anyways for a couple of things I need looked at so I might as well have them fix it. Thanks.
