It was $90 after exchange.
I just looked at the LS battery and it looks like the front of the battery faces the firewall not the front of the car - which is unusual . When facing the firewall the postive post is on the right. It looks like the terminals are flexible enough to to put the 24F facing the front of the car. My son is driving the M35 right now and I can't measure the EverStart to see if it is the same size as the LS battery.

You are right, the catalog at Walmart also listed the 24F for the LS460.

It would probably fit with the terminals reversed but why go through the effort. Just buy the 24.

I replaced my battery last night with the $77 Walmart EverStart MAXX 24S - it was a perfect fit. The current issue of Consumer Report had it ranked higher than the Duralast.

I used a portable rechargeable battery during the swap in order to retain all the settings.

Thanks for the tip on the 24 vs. the 24F - the battery manufactures should modify their catalogs.

The Duralast batteries are made by Johnson Controls.

As of September 1, all Walmart batteries are made by Johnson Controls (was 60% in February 2010) http://www.jsonline.com/business/83454852.html.

Although the batteries may be cosmetically different, they are basically the same. The $12 difference is probably due to the lower price margins at Walmart.
