Default Xm Radio service

I guess the trail period of my wife's xm radio service has expired.
Does anyone know of any deals going on now
for xm service?

As far as I know, if you call often enough, you can get a rep to give you this deal -

If you let your trial expire, XM will contact you with a better offer(s). The $77/yr seems to be the going deal. On Monday I called to cancel my subscription which was about to expire and got 5 months for $20. This will give me time to think about whether not I want to keep it.

Really.. I'm up for renewal, but going to cancel, as they want $177 bucks for the next year's worth of XM. If there is a cheaper rate I'll go that route, otherwise, I'm cancelling.

Yeah, XM will negotiate sometimes. Search on xmfanstore.com forums and see if anyone has posted up some website codes you can use. Back in the day, i found one for a promotion on a Scion and used it..got 3 mos free, zero activation and it was like $55 a year or something. I also recently negotiated a lifetime subscription for $250

I concur..they really hate losing customers..especially nowadays with the bad economy and all that goin on. They can't afford to lose ANY subscribers!

Let it nearly expire. Talk to retention dept. Tell them you want to cancel. They will offer $77/year deal. Turn it down. Tell them you have little money and you need a better deal. They will offer 5 months for $20. Take it. I got it twice! $4/month is great.

What plan do you all have for 77.00? All music only?

Yes, that's for music only. I had that plan for three years, but they won't offer it to me anymore.

Nope, it is for everything XM carries (not Sirius channels). I signed onto the deal about 2 years ago before I found out of the 5 for $20 plan.

I get everything with the $77 plan. I suppose that's negotiable as well.

Here's another source of info -

Well, called today and told them that the service was not up to par and that I lost signal on occasions. They offered me another 3 month trial offer, which I took, and showed me how to refresh the signal on my unit.
For the people that don't know, you can refresh the signal of your XM by going to:
