Do new tires come with CPO?
I'm finally home after quite a bit and was looking at my mom's LS460 which we bought in December and she's driven only 3k miles since...the tires look pretty worn out. My father and I purchased this car as a CPO from a local Lex dealership (it was at night) and I was pretty sure they salesman said they are new tires (?) though I'm not 100% sure. I wanted to know if it is common for CPO cars to have new tires or not...thanks!

I was just in to see my dealer yesterday, and saw my CPO'd 600 on their lot. When I traded it in, the Bridgestone EL42 tires were about 80% worn, with heavy wear on the corners, there was about 18" of scuffing damage on the wheel well from a previous encounter with a lane crosser, and two of the rims had some hard curb rash. They repaired the damage, repainted the affected area, and put on five new Michelin Primacy tires. Add to that as well the usual CPO treatment, including bumping up the warranty. The car was immaculate, and was only marked up $10K over what I traded in for. So good, I was even thinking of buying it back...

Yes, I did a 5-tire rotation during my ownership, so the spare was just as worn as the other four. I think it would be tacky to show a car at this level, boast about the new tires, and then have the potential client peer in the trunk revealing an almost bald tire...
