Default Changing setting for headlights

Hi all,
Hope someone could answer this, as I hope it can be changed. I keep my headlights to turn on and off automatically (auto setting). However, it seems like the headlights take at least 2-3 mins for it to turn off by itself.

In my Toyota Highlander, the lights flick off in about 45 secs. Anyways for the LS to make the lights turn off sooner? Please advise.

Im pretty sure its like the IS and all other lexus models - press the lock button on the fob twice and the headlights will turn off immediately.

Ask your service guy at your next oil change to do a complimentary change of the LP setting "Automatic Light Control System" as a goodwill gesture. Express your frustration telling them you didn't realize there was a choice for this from the start. If you're a regular, they should comply as it is very easy to do. If you're not, you may have to beg a little. The following is page 2 and can be found in one of your manuals; review all the settings to see if there are others that you may want to change as well. If your headlights really take that long, the system may be defective, which could fall under warranty. Good Luck!

On my 2008 LS, my dealer made a change where my headlights go off zero seconds after the engine is turned off AND the door is OPENED. Works for me. You can choose 30, 60 or 90 secs as is says above.
