I just changed the engine oil 3 weeks ago. I put Castrol Longtec super syn oil.

Why the above message is coming on the dashboard along with a warning sign after just three weeks and 1200 miles?

Does it require some sort of reset after every change?

 

yes, i think u need to reset it after every change.

 

Reset it in the Nav display and also by the Odo reset button method.

I did delete the old entry on the nav screen. Now how to reset the odo screen?

 

I searched the forum and found a thread on how to do the reset.

The light and message now are gone.
