I would like to know if anyone installed the navtool in their LS460. I installed it in my car but it did not work. Wondering if anyone had installed it and it worked.

would love to hear your thoughts on this.

 

What is the Navtool, whats another alternative for Navtool do you mean the NAVI/TV which overrides the navigation ? the ony from prestigious society. If thats the one then yes it works.

 

no its another one, it is a plug and play video input system, you can add a DVD player player to it and also add two more video screens too. It is nice i guess but its worthless if it doesnt work on the LS....it took me alot of time to take out the navigation unit and connect the wiring to find out that it doesnt work. If no one confirmed it works i might just sell it to someone.

 

Do you have a driver so you will have all the time to do 2 or more video screens ?

1 does it ( TV/ NAVI ).

If you still insist of doing it, you dont need to do the wiring , you mite VAIS product ( Plug N Play ).

Yeh I did the installation myself, connected everything according to the diagram. But when I turn my device on and then click on disk, i dont see the video screen. Could you tell me ur setup maybe i did something wrong

 

Is this unit better than prestigious society one? If so, why/how is it better?

 

For me its better because I want to install a media player to stream music and video to my front screen. I have an extensive collection of music and didn't like the ipod interface and would like to use my media player instead to listen to music.

The device from prestigious society is a great add on for those who want to modify their destination while driving or use the screen to make phone calls while driving.

I don't use the navigation nor the bluetooth in my car, thats why I chose not to get the product from prestigious society.
