Default Used LS460 reliability question....

Hello.
My lease on MB E350 coming to the end and I'd like to buy LS460.
I'm looking for about 2 years old car with no more than 35K miles on it.
I'd like to go to dealer's action and buy it from there to save couple thousand.
Could you guys tell me how reliable this car is ? I know, that LS430 has been very good car, but my mechanic says LS460 has much more electronics inside and it's not the same old Lexus it used to be.
Please let me know your opinion.
Thanks everybody.

Alex.

Its the Lexus flagship so I am damn sure its going to be reliable. The only common issues I hear with this model is wind noise, but then again the car is damn quiet its kind hard not to notice the little noises. Its a beautiful car and I would love to get one if I decide to ditch my plans for a 2011 GTR. I am saving my lunch money. With plans for kids soon I have this feeling that I will end up in an LA, but you never know

Ask to see the history and service records. These should be available - I always hand mine in on a trade. If they don't have them, then they better have a good explanation and a contact person to obtain them. You're not going to get many other cars that have a reliability and dependability reputation like the LS, so it's a safe bet all around. The drive train is probably one of the best out there, and is grandfathered by previous LS generations. The fit and finish is pristine and tight. The ride will probably be different than M-Bs and BMWs, but the LS equipped with air suspension comes pretty close. This car will make you feel comfortable, and will you great driver satisfaction even at legal speed limits.

Thanks Burnaby.
I will not purchase L model ( too big ), so mine won't have air suspension, but
it's okey...I'm 46 and I drove many MB's and BMW's in my life and I don't think I'll miss them a lot. I think it's interesting to try something else.
Another question I have is about Navigation/ML System. Many people complain you can't use it while driving. I don't mind not to enter the address while I'm driving, bit how about other features, that connected to navi?
I mean - if I wanna change treble or bass on stereo, change Radio station, answer or dial the phone. What about that ?

Thanks for advice.
Alex.
