Engine and Suspension and Engine Performance Mod's for the 460?
Has anyone found any aftermarket Sway Bars or Chassis Braces that have proven effective, to tighten up the handling of their 460?
Also looking for any domestic or offshore source for alternate ECU's or Fuel Remapping and/or Intake Systems, to remap the fuel and air delivery curve to gain some HP/Torque. I did discover Tom's Racing Products out of Japan and they show a module that plugs into the OBD module, to help override the delay that is inherent in the computerized , "Drive by Wire" throttle onset.
Anyone tried any of these products, or have alternate input on power and handling improvements? Thanks

no company has sways now
for braces, i believe toms have something for ls460?
for the throttle control ecu, i think a few members here have it and they are very happy. BenLS460?
and i don't think there is any ecu hack for the car.

Thanks. I have seen the Toms Suspension Braces and Shock Tower Strut, but hoping someone has actually tried them before I anti up the $. Hope to hear back from BenLS460 on that TC ECU! Your right, Toyota guards their Code and ECU Modules more that any other manufacturer it seems. Soldered in Memory and Conformally Coated Module etc. I've already redone the exhaust and put K&N's in , trying to gain a little xtra airflow thru the motor, and get a few ponies and a little torque. Thanks. Jim
i didn't have any braces on my ls460l, but i had them on my gs400 and sc430. to be honest, they might give you marginal gain, but it's not going to be anything "wow". and you probably have to push your car really hard in order to really feel them
now one thing you might want to look into is whether you can put the touring package sway bars on yours (if yours is not already touring). touring package has thicker sways

I agree that the braces are a joke. Its a mod for the track. On the street its a checklist mod. You do it because you want to mod your car. I would save the money and look into sway bars, even if you get them installed from another model LS. Sway bar mods are a no brainer
