It will get the usual facelift and updates....also expect F-sport parts available for it.

TAS this year will be huge for Lexus, LF-A debut, possible IS-F lightweight and LS F-sport....ES will be refreshed, GX re-done.

 

Just right when I'm about to go look into getting a Lexus I always hear about a newer version coming out then I end up waiting for that one to be released and then I hear about a new version and decide to wait again... it just never ends.

But yeah, a lot of stuff for Lexus this year. Can't wait to see what the refreshes are gonna be like and hearing more F-Sport parts.

Any idea when they will be hitting the sealerships? Folks are looking to get one and was wondering if I should tell them to wait.

 

Usually September ? or even late August, but Lexus is usually so secretive, they won't reveal the facelift until the car is almost ready to hit dealerships ...

 

The 2010 looks like it has only minor changes, like headlights, tail lights, etc. If they really wanted to, they could get an 08 and possibly just buy the 2010 lights. Just my two cents.

 

Also the Lexus Enform system is coming...maybe LKA?

 

it also depends on the kind of changes too. if shape is changed (like 01-03 vs 04-06 ls) then it's going to be extensive work

I recently met with my local Lexus Dealer Owner friend, and he gave me a few tidbits. He in turn , had just recently had lunch with the N.A. Sales Director based out of Corporate, here in California.
The 2010 LS will supposedly have the mild Nose and Tail Lamp assembly workover that we all have previously discussed. In addition, the Interior Console areas will have more Wood and Metal Trim/Piping, ala MBZ. There was some discussion on their implementing the new Jog Input Device for Data Entry that is now standard on the new RX etc. It was not clear whether that change over was to be on the first new 2010 release or a mid cycle change.
In addition thare will be an LS Sport that has larger and different wheels than the new standard, and it will have new Brembo Brakes/ Drilled Rotors as well. I'll drop more info here as I can ferret it out. Jim
