Dealer just called to set me up for 3 service campaigns on my '08 LS. One is the fuel rail replacement I've read about here, but the others are something to do with the rear calipers and the electric power steering.

Don't know about those last two, but I'm going in Monday to get them done.

Any info on the caliper and steering issues?

All three???? I have an 07 GS and I only had to get the fuel rail and the rear brake calipers done. My rear brakes dont squeak anyone in these cool Dallas mornings. Sewell in Dallas did mine and they were great. The even filled my car fuel of gas when I picked it up.

 

So some people are having brake squealing issues? I haven't had any trouble with that.

Ha! False alarm ... got to the dealer today and the service writer looked puzzled as he studied his computer. Finally said, "There's no campaigns on your car ... it's a 2008 and these things are for the 2007's."

"Okay", says I ... "Then why did someone call me and set up this appointment?"

Needless to say, he didn't have the answer to that one.

So I went home.
