I'm currently own a IS250 AWD. I'm thinking to get a LS460 cause the IS250 just too small for my need. But I living in upstate Ny, that's plenty of snow during the winter season. So I need some input how the car perform on the snow. Thanks.

It performs great with a set of good snow tires. Even without snow tires, it does better in snow than the LS430 did in my opinion.
Without snow tires, it's fine as long as it's on the flats. Any hint of a hill and it's bumper cars. I know, it happened to me... complete and utter loss of control. I will be getting either Michelin or Bridgestone snows this winter. I will also be seriously considering trading up to the '09 AWD. I've never had a RWD behave so erratically in snow conditions on All Weather tires like this LS. Scary, to say the least...
I agree with the above; snow tires will do the trick in the average snow. If you are in deep stuff though you could get stuck and you may feel a little sideways movement up steep hills from a start but the ETC keeps that pretty well in check.
