Hey guys,

Just wanted to check in. I notice these forums are much quieter than the IS forums, but that's to be expected I suppose.

I got the car last week and I'm loving it. While it's unfair to compare the build quality and materials to that of my IS, I did it anyway. The drive to and from work has been heavenly, especially with the ML system cranked and ripping my CD collection at the same time.

I don't plan on modding this one, but I'm getting it polished and clayed in the next week or so and will post some pics.

Welcome to Hell...

It is quieter because not unlike in the LS, we like quiet places/things.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your new LS tremendously and I'm very happy for you.

Congrats, and again, welcome!

I think that there are less LS vehicles than IS vehicles (especially LS460's) and so that is most likely the reason. If you want quiet, my Range Rover forum is almost silent in comparison...

Welcome to the fold! We're quiet, but remember that still waters run deep.

Have you seen Rominl's and GSXOTIC's LS

GS3Tek, I always tell myself I'm not going to mod when I first buy a car. Alas, it never works! Last night I spent some time reading about the Passport SRX already..

Well, your resolve to stay stock lasted about a week....not bad.
