I used to feel sorry for some of the customers I would see who got bamboozled into fuel injection cleaning services.
Many years ago (15) I took my company car to Jiffy Lube and they forgot to put oil in it and then tried to blame me for it. That was the last time I used discount oil change places. I'd rather pay a few more dollars and have a piece of mind.

Can't believe you'd consider taking an LS to WalMart!

Yes, it's just a car. I don't go to the cheapest dentist because they're just teeth though.

Did you lease it? If so, maybe that explains the WalMart oil change.

I shop there, but wouldn't think of letting them work on any of my cars...

That wouldn't be the right price if they're using synthetic oil. The car holds 9.1 quarts and synthetic runs about $6 per quart. Make sure they're using the 0W20 oil. That price doesn't sound right, too cheap...

$55 at my dealership, but they will pick and drop the car for free including loaner.

The Toyota dealer quoted me $6 per quart. The auto parts store charges 6.19 per quart. I don't know what the Lexus dealer charges. I live 110 miles each way from the dealer, so it's not worth going in for an oil change, unless I need to go to St. Louis...
