Default Future Depreciation Question

I've owned two Lexus' so far.. a 2001 Lexus RX300 and a 2005 Lexus LS430. Both are sold. I'm interested in an LS460L, but $100k is about $30k out of my league..

I'm not very familiar with Lexus depreciation.. I'm thinking I might be able to afford an LS460L fully loaded in a couple of years, certified used.. What might a 2007 (fully loaded) cost at a dealership 12 months from now and 24 months from now?

Thank you...

The more you pay for a car, the more you will lose has been what I've experienced. Who knows for sure what kind of real world depreciation numbers anyone could quote one or two years in advance. Your guess is as good as mine or anyone else...

Higher priced cars = greater depreciation. (With the exception of exotics and collectibles, of course.)

Generally speaking for Lexus products, a two year old luxury sedan with about 25k miles will cost about 65% of the original MSRP...

When I leased my LS460L the retention (or whatever it is called, sorry, forgot) was 57% after 3 years.
