Active Power Stabilizer Suspension System
OK, so what's the scoop on this option, and is it desirable?
Also, that do the wheels look like that come with this? It says it comes with 245/45YR19 summer tires. Are these the standard tires, or different?
From the website:
Active Power Stabilizer Suspension System
Working in conjunction with sensors and a computer that detect the amount of force needed to help keep the vehicle flat in a turn, the active stabilizer system increases roll resistance by twisting the stabilizer bars. Which pre-loads them to help them behave like thicker sway bars without having to compromise a smooth ride.

yes, if i were getting ls460l today and it has this option, i will FOR SURE get it. it improves handling dramatically without compromising much on the ride comfort. i test drove the gs430, gs300/350, and then the gs450h, and i felt the HUGE difference. even my wife on the passenger seat said "wow, this car handles great!" that's how much it helps on the gs450h. so i really expect something similar on the LS
What a shocker. Being told by the dealer that it cannot be ordered now, despite being on Lexus' website.
They really need to get this ordering/misinformation/website thing together. It just comes off as so amateur - especially on the most expensive car they've ever buillt.

After driving around in these big boats like the 745/S class, it handles very well.
Like what everyone said, I wouldn't get an LS without one.
I know it's not meant to corner like a sports car, but at least the car feels confident and your passenger sitting on the left seat won't end up in the right seat
