Default LS460 pics with 19 inch wheels

The car looks amazing with optional 19 inch rims. Remember how the critics said that the new LS looks like 7-series and has bland styling and not passionate enough etc. I think these pictures prove that the new LS looks exeptionally sexy and even more so in real life. I think that the pictures with 18 inch wheels used by the US media don't do the car justice.

Bland is not even a word to describe the LS460. It looks great even without the 19s the 19s just add more spice to the beauty.

Are these pic's photoshopped with 19" rims?

I would love it if some of you PS experts could put 18 or 19 inch rims on a 2007 ES. And if you were wondering which color ES to do, Ruby Red of course!

Critics always find things wrong so don't sweat what they say. Keep in mind what the critics have said about the 7 (they killed it) and talking about a bland interior, the 7 is the king of boring on the inside since all of the buttons are removed and replaced by i-drive. Also, Benz takes hits also with the flared wheel wells.

I agree that those 19" 5 stars look great. I would like to use my 18's as a winter set (with winter tires) and the 19's as a summer set.

Pics are not photoshopped. They are captures from Lexus UK website flash animation.

Pictures of my LS 460L with Touring Package, 19" wheels, tires and larger brakes were previously posted in page 2 of the Five Star Wheel thread. The Touring Package is the way to go if you want the larger wheel/tire package without having to figure out the aftermarket situation.

Of all the stock wheels for the new LS, I still like the 19" 7-spokes on the LS600hL the best :

I am not getting the long wheel base so this isn't even an option for me (although it would be preferential).

I understand. I didn't exactly need the extended length either but wanted the air suspension for sure which meant going to the L and then looking at the L's option packages the Touring stuck out for me as the one to have. Perhaps as they build more 460s this model year and particularly next they will provide more performance options for the SWB model too.

It looks like there's still a lot more space there, especially if TOMs or another big company might make some really nice rims for it.

Congrats on your LS460L. I believe the air suspension is an option for the SWB and LWB though, right?

Either way, how do you find the air suspension? Since it's 'active' (I think), do you think it does a fair job of lessening body roll in corners?

Do the different settings make much difference?

Thank you for any feedback.

Hey, the bottom pic is a different car than the others. The headlights on the 600 are beautiful!
