Default Need Advice - 460L Color

OK folks .. here's the deal. I put my name on the dealer's list over (1) year prior to the LS460's launch. Evidently an obsidian 460L is somewhat hard to come by (but I'm still on the list for the next obsidian 460L the dealer receives).

Dealer called today and they have Black Sapphire Pearl 460L. The paint chips in the brochure make it hard to tell the difference between Black Sapphire Pearl and Obsidian. The website clearly shows how much blue tint is in the Black Sapphire Pearl color. Can't seem to find another Black Sapphire Pearl car to compare with, either.

So what do y'all think (Yes, I'm from the South) .. DEAL (Take the Black Sapphire Pearl) or NO DEAL (wait for the Obsidian) ??

Default No Deal

If you want obsidian, wait for it. Every time you look at the sapphire (which I think is a drop-dead gorgeous color), you will wish you had obsidian.

I say wait for the Obsidian if that's what you really want, but I think Black Sapphire will look great on the car as well, & since the car is here already, don't turn it down before you've seen it, just go down there to see it in person, who knows, maybe you will love it.

same here, do not settle for anything else except what you want, otherwise you might regret later

I would wait to compare the cars so you'll have no regrets. Incidently, I purchased an ES350 Black Sapphire Pearl. At the time, I was deciding between three dark colors (Obsidian, SGM and Black Sapphire Pearl). I saw all three in person.

They all looked great but for me it was an easy decision---Black Sapphire Pearl!!!

Same here, that's actually a good idea I would try to see as many of the colors which I'm not considering as well, just so I don't miss anything that may change my mind . . .
