The home systems are superior in terms of contruction and components used. One thing I am not sure if the systems are made in-house. I've heard the McIntosh car components are actually made by Clarion.

ML reference components typically cost at least 6 - 7K a piece, with the high end amps boasting 5 digit price tags.

I have a set of B&O headphones and even though they're small, the sound is quite clear.

 

I like the ML more than the B&O.

I still want too hear Linn in the Aston Martin and Burmester in the Bugatti.

Holy cow A8 / S8 / R8 have the B&O. Wonder if they will have it soon in the Q7.

So going too have to go into the Audi dealership and test out the equipment lol.

One thing ML is owned by Harman Kardon (?Sp) which is in BMW.

The ML soundsystem standard on the GX, GS and LX. Too my knowledge here in Canada.

 

It's not standard on the GS.

 

It is standard on the GS450h, but not the non-bybrids.

 

you can add the sc430 to the list too if you want.

maybe the ml option on the ls460 is quite a bit more pricey than other models.
