Nice pics, thanks. You say this color is exclusive to the 600hL?

 

According to the mini-brochure given out by some Lexus dealers(& scanned & posted in this forum), the Black Opal is exclusive to the LS600hL - look at post #52 in THIS THREAD

 

Thanks for the helpful link. I went back and read the entire thread. After reading everything, I still think I want the 600hL in one of the "black" colors with cashmere interior. (Although the speculation about a too small trunk is a nagging concern).

So you only have that ONE contact eh ?
I like dark purple but I still like the purple on the SC430 more based on the LS pics, mine has a reddish hue whereas the Black Opal is bluish.
Black should be nice too - at least they got rid of the Black Onyx which is a flat color which I am never too fond of. The new black paint is Obsidian, hopefully it will be metallic & a lot nicer.

 

On a car over $100K , even a Lexus, you should be able to "git-it" any colour you like.
Surely their certified body shop would strip it down and paint it vermillion for the right figure,

Congratulations, any Lexus purchase seems to boost the quality of life. Especially 430hp ones.
