They are bringing Lexus Link back...

cuz i saw the button for it while i sat in the car. I asked the product specialist.. theyre brining it back? He said..yes and shhhhhhhhhhhhhh dont say anything..its a 100X more better and more "luxurious" than before.....

i asked him - what do u mean? and he told me....

Lets just say...

Second Generation Lexus Link
Will Lexus re-introduce a Second Generation Lexus Link?

"Lexus will introduce a digital Lexus Link system in the 2006 model year starting with the LX 470 and the GX 470. It is being planned for availability on the 2007 MY LS and GS."

Lexus Link = Lexus' version of OnStar, where you can push a button and talk to the Lexus Link operator service. They can help you with show reservations, emergency roadside assistance, etc.

The LS 430 original edition had the Lexus Link option. The Lexus Link button was placed in the front overhead lighting/HomeLink section between the two large sun visors. Lexus Link was bundled with a 30 sec (?) audio voice recorder for messaging. But Lexus Link was discontinued by the LS 430 refresh.

Awesome! Even though I'll probably never use the Lexus Link system ( ) it's good to know that I'll have it. Good thing I'm waiting for the 2007 GS 350 AWD.
