Yeah is a certainty the LWB is not coming to Europe? Somehow I doubt that...or Lexus wouldn't showcase the 460L at Geneva coming in a few weeks.

I think according to Henry (rominl)'s conversation with the Lexus rep's, the LWB is available with 5 seats.
I will probably get the 4 seat version though

It will actually be a favour that I will be doing for my mom, she'll love the reclining/massaging seat at the back. She's been complaining for the longest time of me owning 2 coupes neither of which can serve as decent cars where I can take her AND her friends out. Even the G35 coupe is not comfortable for many because of the headroom at the rear coupled with the lack of ease in entrance for rear passengers.
With the LS460L with 4 seats, I can take her AND 2 others, & she'll still get to enjoy the reclining seat with massage.

My guess is sis is too young to have a license ?
Unless she's so much younger than you, she should at least be able to have her own car by the time you're ready to get the new LS ?
Or you can just be a nice brother & pass your GS on for her, so you can have more flexibility in choosing your own new car ?

Ah, I see, but come on, you don't need a van yet, you are not going to trade your GS for the new LS anyway because it's not going to help much financially right ? If your parents and your sis come to visit at the same time, you can always drive 2 cars correct ? Plus you would still have the SC430 right ?

If I will have 3 cars anyway, I will avoid having to buy a van for as long as I can even with a family & other visiting family members to carry around.

true that selling the gs would be next to pointless, coz' it's not going to help much on the ls purchase. the sc430 of course has to stay or my wife will divorce me (with the car). but dunno, eventually we will have kids and seems like van is unavoidable

but hey hey hey, it's so far away, let's not go there yet 4 seats or 5 seats.....

I'd enjoy the LWB but for the people we drive or entertain, the rear seats in ours has been sufficient. Most the road trips is just me and the Mrs. Costco trips require a Suburban or Expedition, no sedan is going to fulfil that. I can't see throwing a Home Depot run of 6' fencing or 2x4's on the backseat.
