Did you ever discover the reason your coolant reservoir was empty? Might be helpful to others if you would kindly post your findings.

 

I can’t remember where I posted my previous coolant post but basically, my radiator was leaking from the top (I think the radiator gasket or something). First symptom was my A/C heater didn’t work and my radiator fluid was low. After driving and checking the engine, could see bubbling/leaking from top of radiator when I took off front plastic beauty cover.

just received my car back from the Lexus dealership, new radiator and hose. Problem seems solved. Cost = $1700AUD.

if people want I’ll post the video of the radiator leaking before it was fixed.

 

I've been on here for many years and you can't change your user name, hence the 99RX in my name. First Lexus was a 99 RX300.
I've had 5 others in between then and now.

I have a 13' LS at the moment.

 

Awh that is actually so cute. I remember sitting in one of the old Lexus RX (maybe 08) when I was a child and it was the best car I had ever sat in. My 07 LS460 is still better though. Wish I could afford a 13 lol, but my car is still heaps good
