Default Serious restoration!

If this is true, it's amazing.

I believe it is the same crowd that did the much longer 600H video that I posted in January:

Same logo on the spray booth.

Both using BASF Glasurit paint.

Cool to watch. I don't know what this cost, but you can probably buy a new LS (or two) with it.

Doing the first one would be massively expensive, but the "learning curve" would kick in and make it less expensive with each subsequent build.

You think they are doing many of these? My guess is that it's a one off to shoot the promotional video, but happy to be proven wrong. I can't imagine there are many people who would pay for such a restoration of an LS, Now a Mercedes Gullwing..

It just seems to be too well organised for it to be a "one off".

Maybe it's just the cost accountant in me(former life).

Of course, it could only be possible in a relatively low wage situation.

And being part of and close to an allied business structure that manufactures the parts would cut down on profit margin/transport/taxes.

I don't know if this is the actual situation, but these things would help.

Not exactly a restoration, more like a refurbishment of a beater with brand new OEM parts. Here's what good example of restoration would look like
