New member here. I recently purchased a 2007 Lexus LS 460 from a local Nissan dealership in Phoenix, Arizona. The car has 88,000 miles. I am the second owner. The car is in great condition, especially the interior. That said, there are a couple issues that need to be addressed.
Over the last month, I have:
- Replaced the water pump, belt tensioner, and idler pulleys with OEM parts
- Installed WeatherTech floor liners
- Had the windows tinted with ceramic film (20%)
Future plans include replacing the dash, driver knee bolster, and glove compartment. I also plan to have the upper door panels and center console assembly wrapped in leather.
This car will soon be my daily driver. I'm not striving for perfection, but I do want it to be nice enough to make me want to keep it for at least five years.
First interior panel installed this evening. I wanted a quick win after work while topping off the coolant reservoir. The original sill plate had some minor scratches in the aluminum. I couldn't help but notice them every time I opened the driver door. Problem solved. And don't mind the towel: it is from this weekend when I replaced the water pump and other items mentioned above.
