Repair or Total
I own a 2011 460LS with 143K miles on it. It's services are up to date. Overall, it's in excellent condition.
On December 30th, I made a run to the local Kroger Store to pick up a few things for New Years Eve. I took my goods out, put them in rite trunk, hopped in and headed home. As I began driving, I heard a rubbing sound. I stopped, got out of the car. Some one had hit the left front corner of my car. They got the Left front fender, the bumper, and the headlight. The left front tire/suspension wasn't touched. So basically, the damage was "Cosmetic".
I called my Insurance Carrier to notify them of the accident. I submitted photos of the damage. The next time I heard from them, they said they were going to TOTAL my car!
I'm leaning towards Fixing it, as the damage is really cosmetic. I would really appreciate input from anyone familiar with this type of accident.
